Rose Ann Moore Obituary
Rose Ann Heger Moore, 90, passed away on May 3, 2017, In Athens, Georgia. Rose Ann was born in 1926 to Arthur Heger and Veronica Naumann Heger in Jasper County, Missouri. She graduated from Alba High School in 1944. She also graduated from Southwest Missouri State University (now Missouri State) in 1975 with a Master’s Degree in Education and a minor in business.

Rose Ann was an active member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church for many years and an avid quilter and square dancer before moving to Athens, Georgia, in 2013 to be near her son and daughter-in-law. In Athens she was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Leo in 1945; two sisters, Martha Mink in 1962 and Clara Rita Yates in 2003; brother-in-law, Harold Mink in 1962; and sister-in-law Erma Heger in 2006. Rose Ann is survived by her son, Charles Moore, Jr. (Carol); three step grandchildren, Beth Robbins (Cliff), Kevin McClure (Tanya), and Lynn McClure (Steve); and six step great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three brothers, Luke Heger (Jo), Paul Heger (Meredith), and James Heger.

A funeral mass to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, May 20, at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Springfield. Interment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Webb City.
