Parish School of Religion (PSR) provides the catechetical instruction and spiritual formation of the children in kindergarten through 12th grade, attending public and parochial school. Classes are held Sunday from September through May from 9:45 to 10:45 AM. Vacation Bible school is held in early summer. Parishioners serve as teachers and classroom assistants.
RCIA (The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is a concentrated process of conversion and faith development by which a person prepares to become a fully incorporated member of the Catholic faith community. RCIA sessions are held Thursday evenings from 7:15 to 9:00 PM from September through May. Periodically, the members will attend Sunday Mass for special rituals to prepare the candidates/catechumens for full membership in the Church. Parishioners serve as sponsors and spiritual mentors during this faith formation process.
Confirmation is a sacrament offered to adults and high school age youth in grades 10 through 12. Preparation is a two-year process and includes youth attending either Catholic or non-Catholic high schools. Parishioners assist with the preparation of confirmation candidates.
